Now that air travel is returning to some sort of normalcy, our Peak Xperience brides have begun to travel across the border to our neighbour Singapore to get their wedding gowns while making it a short makan trip to dine at some of the finest restaurants that Singapore has to offer. Some of our couples have also starting planning their weddings in both Singapore and Malaysia.
We have prepared an easy and simplified step-by-step guide to make it easy for you to plan and prepare for your trip to Singapore if you’re travelling before 1st of April 2022.
Eligibility To Travel To Singapore Via The VTL
- You have to be fully vaccinated (completed a full regimen of a COVID-19 vaccine recognized by the Ministry of Health).
- Must have stayed in Malaysia for the past 14 consecutive days before departure to travel to Singapore.
- Unvaccinated children below 12 years old must be accompanied by vaccinated adults.
How To Get To Singapore
- Quarantine-free air travel aka “Vaccinated Travel Lane” VTL is allowed between the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Changi Airport Singapore
- The VTL flights are operated by Malaysia Airlines, Singapore Airlines and Jetstar Asia.

Before Departure to Singapore
Step 1: Ensure passport is still valid. If not, book appointment to renew Malaysian passport. Walk-ins without appointments will not be accepted.
Step 2: Apply VACCINATED TRAVEL PASS {VTP} between 3 to 60 days before travelling. You will be required to upload Vaccination cert during application.
Step 3: Purchase Insurance with a minimum coverage of S$30,000 for COVID-19-related medical treatment and hospitalisation costs, prior to travelling to Singapore.. Print out & present proof of purchase upon check in. [SG$19.15]

Step 4: Apply ARRIVAL CARD, 3 days before departure date.
Step 5: Do a COVID-19 RTK Test at any of the approved Clinics, 48 hours before departure. Print out the report & present it upon check-in at airport. [MYR55]
Step 6: Print out Proof of Vaccination (download the PDF version). Present upon check-in at airport.
Step 7: Book supervised self-administered ART in Singapore, 1 – 2 days before flight.
Step 8: Install Trace Together App but only activate upon arrival in SG.
Arrival in Singapore
Step 1: Activate Trace Together app.
Step 2: Take supervised self-administered ART within 24 hours upon arrival. [SG$15]
Step 3: Self isolate until you receive your results which will be ready in less than 2 hours.
Before Departing from Singapore Back to Malaysia
Step 1: Take a PCR Test, 2 days before departure. [SG$105]
Step 2: Book on-arrival PCR Test at https://airport.doctor2u.my/, 1 day before flight. [MYR250]
Step 3: Register at MySafeTravel before flight. It will be checked upon check-in at airport. (Go to MySejahtera. Click on Traveller. Click on MySafeTravel. If register via website, go to https://mysafetravel.gov.my)
Step 4: Go to MySejahtera and fill up Pre-departure form. Go to MySejahtera. Click on Traveller. Click on Pre-departure Form.
