Over the years, we have invested our efforts and time in building meaningful connections around the globe in order to offer a more comprehensive experience in planning destination weddings. From Italy to Vietnam, our team has gone against the odds of language barrier, logistical constraints and natural disaster, all in the name of LOVE!

 

To date, we have planned weddings in Brunei, Singapore, Italy, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Australia. We have also assisted wedding couples in planning their destination engagement/pre-wedding shoot in New Zealand, France, UK and Greece.

If You're Planning From Abroad

Trust us when we say that 50% of our clients are planning from abroad, especially Malaysians who are working overseas and coming home to host their wedding reception. We have also worked with international couples interested in a destination wedding in Malaysia as well as expatriates based in Malaysia but their other half is living in his/her home country. These are some FAQs to help clear any questions you may have.

HOW WILL WE COMMUNICATE?

Whatsapp is usually the most common mode of communication. We also do video calls via Skype or Zoom.

DO YOU CHARGE BY THE HOUR, BY PERCENTAGE OR A LUMP SUM PACKAGE FOR EVERYTHING?

We charge a professional wedding planning service fee in which 50% is required upon confirmation of service and the balance is payable 1 week before the wedding. The rest of the wedding expenses will depend on each individual vendor’s price which will be discussed during the planning process. We do not offer all-inclusive packages as every wedding is unique and tailor-made to the couple.

HOW CAN WE TRUST THE VENDORS RECOMMENDED BY YOU?

We only work with trusted, quality wedding vendors with proven track records. In a world of technology, all vendors can easily be found through social media, wedding directories or wedding blogs and you can do a thorough research on them online. Sometimes, portfolio photos alone may not be sufficient. We can always schedule a zoom call together with the shortlisted vendor so you can ‘interview’ them face-to-face should you have any doubts.

HOW DO WE WORK WITH VENDORS? DO WE ENGAGE THEM THROUGH YOU OR CAN WE GO DIRECTLY TO THEM?

All contracts are transparent to you. We do not enter into contracts on behalf of our clients. We do not make payments on behalf of our couples either. All contractual obligations and monetary transactions are between you and the appointed vendor.

ARE YOU OPEN TO WORKING WITH OUR PREFERRED VENDORS OR INTERNATIONAL VENDORS?

Yes, we are flexible and will work with your preferred vendors.

HOW OFTEN DO WE NEED TO TRAVEL BACK TO MALAYSIA TO PLAN OUR WEDDING?

Our wedding couples return to Malaysia approximately twice throughout a period of 9 months and some may travel more frequently. When you’re back in Malaysia, your time will be managed efficiently to ensure that you cover as much as possible during your time here by scheduling meetings with vendors, food-tasting, etc.

IF REQUIRED, WILL YOU TRAVEL TO MEET US?

Yes, so far we have travelled to Singapore and Hong Kong to meet our clients for wedding discussion. We have also travelled to meet our clients’ preferred wedding vendors. There is no additional fee incurred for our time but all travel expenses such as flights, meals, international SIM card / roaming charges and accommodation will be paid by the client.

DO YOU DO SMALL WEDDINGS?

Yes we do but we do not do anything smaller than 10 guests. The smallest wedding we have done is for 20 guests; for an Australian couple who fell in love with Malaysia when they stopped over in Kuala Lumpur for a few days during transit. Post COVID-19, we’ve been doing a fair bit of micro weddings and the smallest we’ve done was with 16 guests.

We begin the process with an initial meeting to understand your expectations. For wedding couples who are based overseas, we can chat over the phone or whatsapp. Upon confirmation of service, we will begin the working process that can take as fast as two months or as early as nine months before the big day but regardless, it takes an average of 200 hours and more to plan a wedding. We are your confidante by taking care of all the details, big or small, right from the preparatory work to your ultimate big day. Rest assured that we are not here to rule over your decisions, but to assist you in making informed decisions.
