Shekar proposed to Angie in Paris in a romantic setting on a penthouse overlooking the Eiffel Tower. For their wedding reception in KL, the third and final leg of their wedding celebration, Angie wanted us to incorporate a touch of Parisian Chic. At the foyer, they had a long floral tunnel leading guests to a 20ft dessert bar and a large 4ft macaron tower stole the spotlight from all the other pretty desserts. Inside the ballroom, every table was decorated with dreamy flowers with custom designed mirror and acrylic menu, black tiffany chairs and blush pink table clothes. Each guest received a Swarovski pen and a custom designed notebook, a practical keepsake as a wedding favour and considering that both Shekar and Angie are lawyers, it seemed like a perfect gift. Shekar performed a cover version of “Sky Full of Stars” with violist Dennis Lau for the Angie’s bridal entrance. Right after dinner, guests adjourned to a vintage circus-inspired afterparty.
